Meet Claire McKeon, LMFT

Claire believes therapy should give each person space to be honest, feel respected, and make meaningful decisions about their own life.

Her style is warm, active, and collaborative. She works with clients as a team, bringing clinical experience, evidence-based treatment, honest conversation, and thoughtful support rather than treating therapy like a lecture or a checklist.

Clients can expect warmth, honesty, thoughtful questions, and support that goes deeper than surface-level tools. Claire is invested in helping people understand patterns, strengthen relationships, and build changes that support long-term success.

What therapy can feel like here

A place to slow down and sort through what has been hard to hold alone.

Therapy is not about having the perfect words. It is a place to notice patterns, name what hurts, strengthen relationships, and practice healthier ways of moving forward.

Listen

Make space for the full story without rushing past the pain.

Name

Identify needs, emotions, relationship dynamics, and patterns more clearly.

Practice

Build communication, boundaries, coping skills, and next steps that fit real life.

A note from Claire

I want therapy to feel like a place where honest conversation can lead to real growth.

I believe each person deserves space to be themselves, feel respected, and make meaningful decisions about their life. In therapy, I work with my clients as a team, bringing clinical experience while honoring each client’s story, goals, and pace.

My work draws from Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Gottman Method, Narrative Therapy, trauma-focused care, and other evidence-informed approaches.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my family, working in my garden, going for a run, and getting lost in a vintage shop.

I look forward to hearing your story and the changes you want to build.
