No endless scrolling. These are grouped by the things most people want to know before starting therapy.

01

Getting Started

Scheduling, consultations, telehealth, and fit.

How do I schedule or request a consultation?

New and existing clients can schedule online through SimplePractice. You can also request a consultation by email if you would like to talk through fit, availability, insurance, self-pay, or next steps before scheduling.

Is therapy virtual only?

Yes. Elevate Counseling Services currently offers telehealth therapy for clients located in Utah. Online therapy can be a good fit for clients who want support from home, need more flexibility, or prefer not to travel for appointments. A physical office location is coming soon in Utah County.

What if I am not sure therapy is the right fit?

That is okay. A consultation can help you ask questions, talk through what you are looking for, and decide whether Elevate Counseling Services feels like a good next step.

02

Insurance & Payment

Accepted plans, self-pay, and Good Faith Estimates.

What insurance do you accept?

Elevate Counseling currently accepts UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, SelectHealth, and PEHP. Coverage can vary by plan, so clients are encouraged to confirm benefits with their insurance carrier before scheduling.

What is the No Surprises Act?

The No Surprises Act gives uninsured and self-pay clients the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before services are provided. A Good Faith Estimate helps you understand the expected cost of care in advance.

If you are not using insurance, or you choose not to bill insurance for services, you may request an estimate before scheduling or continuing care. If the final bill is at least $400 more than the Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
